A ministerial delegation headed by Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for the Social Care Sector, paid a visit to Bena Charity this morning.

The delegation included Mr. Ihab Muhammad Ahmed, Director of the General Department of Social Defense in the Ministry, and Ms. Munia Al-Azzani, Assistant Director General of Assistance in the Ministry.

Upon arrival at the headquarters of Bena Charity, the delegation was received by Mr. Tawfiq Abdulkhbir, Secretary-General of the Association, and Mr. Tariq Al-Hamadi, Executive Director. The Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the governorate and his deputy also attended the meeting.

This visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and Bena Charity in various development fields. The delegation inspected the workflow of Bena Charity’s departments and sections.

Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Social Care Sector, praised the great efforts made by Bena Charity in serving the community, stressing the ministry’s full support for the association’s activities and programs. He pointed out that the ministry is keen to strengthen partnership with civil society institutions, including development and charitable associations, to achieve social development goals.
