Cash Assistance for Rent Distributed to 100 Beneficiaries in Salh District, Taiz Governorate.

As part of humanitarian efforts to support displaced persons and host communities, Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) has launched the distribution of the first batch of cash assistance for rent to 100 beneficiaries in Salh District, Taiz Governorate.

This initiative is part of the project “IDPs Sites Management and Coordination and Provision of Lifesaving WASH and Shelter Assistance (Salh-Taiz) and Protection Assistance (AIMukha and Mawza – West Coast) to Vulnerable IDPs and HC”. The project is funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

The primary objective of this activity is to ease the financial burden on displaced families and ensure their access to adequate housing, thereby contributing to improved living stability for these most vulnerable groups.

It is worth noting that the project also includes services in water, sanitation, hygiene, and shelter, in addition to protection enhancement in the targeted areas, aiming to improve the humanitarian situation of displaced persons and host communities in Taiz and the West Coast.
