As part of the “Brightly Alliance,” funded by the FCDO in partnership with Oxfam, and within the “Cash for Work” activity in its second phase, 55 workers from the poorest families are continuing their efforts to rehabilitate the “Hope Mountain Road” in the Al-Afeera area of Maqbana District, which spans over 180 meters.
This road was a daily obstacle for residents, preventing them from accessing essential services and depriving them of numerous humanitarian and developmental opportunities.
This activity is part of the “Building Resilience Through Integrated Community-Based and Humanitarian Systems Transformation and Leadership in Yemen” project, led by the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Development (BCFHD). It is a step forward in their humanitarian journey, steadfastly working to alleviate the interwoven crises that cast shadows on all aspects of life in cities and villages alike.
The organization is sowing seeds of hope and reviving the spirit of life among generations who were on the verge of despair. It is working tirelessly to reconnect fragmented communities by mobilizing the community’s potential and uniting efforts to overcome challenges, contributing to the revitalization of sustainable development, and leaving a legacy full of promise for future generations.
