A United Nations delegation, along with representatives from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), visited the “integrated Response Project for Education and Protection Services for the Most Affected Children in Maqbanah District” project. This project, implemented by Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) with support from Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), aims to provide critical support for children affected by conflict.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed the services provided to children, including well-equipped classrooms and psychosocial support. They also observed activities aimed at strengthening local community capacities in protecting children from various risks.
The delegation praised the efforts put into this project, emphasizing the importance of continued support and intensified efforts to sustain education and protection services for children in these areas, thereby improving children’s lives and safeguarding their fundamental rights.
This visit reflects the international community’s commitment to supporting humanitarian projects in Yemen, as Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) strives to improve access to education and protection for the most vulnerable, especially children affected by conflict.
