In a significant step to enhance educational opportunities for children in Maqbna District, Bilal bin Rabah and Al-Azhar Schools have been opened after construction, furnishing, and equipping them with sanitary facilities.
This achievement comes as part of the “integrated Response Project for Education and Protection Services for the Most Affected Children in Maqbanah District”, implemented by Bena Charity for Human Development with funding from Yemen Humanitarian Fund, under the generous patronage of the Governor of the Governorate, Mr. Nabil Shamsan, Under the supervision of the Provincial Education Office and the local authority in Maqbna District.
Bilal Bin Rabah School saw the construction and furnishing of six classrooms equipped with modern seating and plates, as well as the installation of solar power systems to provide electricity, and the equipping of three sanitation facilities. The Al-Zahar School in Al-Qashah, Three classrooms have been built and furnished, with solar power systems and two health facilities installed..
This project aims to provide a safe and equipped learning environment for children in Maqbna, especially the most affected, and to meet their basic educational needs. It also contributes to increasing access to education and improving its quality, thus contributing to building a better future for future generations.
The opening was widely attended by local officials, educators, parents, and students.
