Funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund, Bena Charity has implemented the activity “Delivering 70 cleaning boxes to the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Taiz Governorate”. This activity comes within the project “Provision of Comprehensive Emergency and Life-saving WASH Assistance to Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Salh and Al Qahirah Districts – Taizz”.
The delivery was attended by a number of officials, including:

Mr. Ali Al-Shamiri, Director of the Executive Unit in the Governorate.
Mr. Abdul Wahid Al-Azzani, Deputy Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Governorate.
Mr. Najib Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Office in the Governorate.
Mr. Aziz Jamel, Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Cairo Directorate.
Mr. Mohammed Amer, Director of the Executive Unit Management in Cairo Directorate.
Mr. Abdul Alim Al-Solwi, Chairman of the 100-Day Challenge Initiative.

This project aims to improve sanitation services in Salh and Al Qahirah Districts, reduce the spread of communicable diseases, and create a suitable healthy environment for displaced persons and host communities.
This initiative is an important step towards improving the living conditions of the people in Taiz Governorate, especially in light of the humanitarian crisis the country is experiencing.
