Dr. Abdulkarim Shamsan, Head of BCFHD, then delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and praised the role of the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, and the Supervisory Committee in serving the Society’s objectives and achieving its strategy of building the present and shaping the future.

Dr. Shamsan presented his annual report, highlighting the Society’s most important achievements during the past period. He also addressed the most important projects and the expansion of their implementation in a number of Yemeni governorates, explaining the partnerships with many international donor and humanitarian organizations.

The financial report was also presented by the legal accountant, in addition to the report of the Supervisory Committee.

This was followed by an extensive discussion and inquiries from the members on the reports, which were answered. The 2024 plan and budget were also reviewed and discussed, and both were approved.
