Bena Charity disburses the third installment of financial incentives to volunteer teachers in Maqbanah district on the occasion of World Education Day.

In conjunction with the celebration of World Education Day, Bena Charity for Humanitarian Development (BCFHD) disbursed the third installment of financial incentives to volunteer teachers in Maqbanah district, Taiz governorate, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. This is part of the activities of the “Provision of integrated response of education and child protection services to the most vulnerable children in Maqbanah district, Taiz,”, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

The number of beneficiaries from the third installment was 77 teachers, including 45 female teachers and 32 male teachers. This third installment is part of eight monthly installments, aimed at motivating and encouraging volunteer teachers to perform their work and improve the quality of education in the region.

Project Manager Engineer Zaid Al-Amiri, on this occasion, stated that this step reflects the BCFHD’s commitment to supporting volunteer teachers in fulfilling their noble mission and improving the quality of education in the region. He added that the BCFHD seeks through this project to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the most affected children in the district, in order to enhance their educational opportunities and future.

Al-Amiri said: “The occasion of World Education Day provides an appropriate opportunity to highlight the importance of education and its role in building a better future for future generations. We at BCFHD believe that education is a fundamental right for all children, and therefore, through this project, we seek to provide educational opportunities for everyone, including children living in conflict and disaster areas.”

Al-Amiri added: “We thank Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) for its support of this project, which contributes to enhancing our efforts to improve the quality of education in Maqbanah district.”
