Bena Charity Lays Foundation for 12 Classrooms Construction Project in Maqbanah.

BCFHD, funded by the Humanitarian Fund, and under the patronage of the local authorities in Maqbanah district and the Ministry of Education, laid the foundation stone for a project to build 12 classrooms in three schools in Maqbanah district in Ta’izz governorate.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the director of the provincial education office, Abdulwasee’ Shaddad, the director general of Maqbanah district, Hamid Ghalib Al-Khulidi, the deputy director of the Social Affairs Office, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Bakkari, and the director of BCFHD, Tariq Al-Hammadi.

Abdulwasee’ Shaddad, the director of the education office, said that the project aims to provide a suitable educational environment for students and teachers in Maqbanah district, which is suffering from a tragic situation in various fields and sectors.

Shaddad praised the efforts of BCFHD in implementing educational projects in a number of governorate’s districts, describing it as one of the leading organizations in providing educational and pedagogical interventions.

For his part, Hamid Ghalib Al-Khulidi, the director general of Maqbanah district, explained that the project contributes to enhancing the level of participation and interaction in the educational process, and carries a strong message to students and teachers that education is important and that achieving educational success is a top priority.

Tariq Al-Hammadi, the director of BCFHD, mentioned that the project also includes the distribution of 2,956 school bags to students and teachers in 10 schools in the district, the distribution of 100 teacher bags in 15 schools, the distribution of 60 white boards in 13 schools, in addition to providing 7 solar systems, 7 cleaning bags, 370 double-seats, and supporting 77 teachers with financial incentives for 8 months.

Al-Hammadi added that the project aims to provide a comprehensive response to education and protection services for the most affected children in Maqbanah district.

The ceremony was also attended by the director of the Maqbanah district education administration, Muhammad Al-Kidahi, the director of the association’s education project, Zaid Al-Amiri, the director of public relations of the provincial education office, Mahmoud Al-Tayar, the education project staff of the association, and a number of local dignitaries and school principals.
