BCFHD distributes second instalment of cash incentives to volunteer teachers in Maqbanah district, Yemen

BCFHD distributed the second instalment of cash incentives to volunteer teachers in Maqbanah district, Tai’zz governorate, on December 28, 2023. The incentives are part of the “Provision of integrated response of education and child protection services to the most vulnerable children in Maqbanah district, Taiz,” project, funded by the Humanitarian Fund for Yemen (YHF).

The second instalment benefited 77 teachers, 45 of whom are female and 32 are male. It is the second of eight monthly installments for volunteers.

The aim of providing cash incentives to volunteer teachers is to boost their motivation and encourage them to perform their duties and improve the quality of education in the region.

“This step reflects our commitment to supporting volunteer teachers in fulfilling their noble mission and improving the quality of education in the region,” said Eng. Zaid Al-Amri, project manager. He added that BCFHD aims to distribute cash incentives to more than 600 volunteer teachers in Maqbanah district during the project.
