Continuation of Building 10 Rainwater Harvesting Tanks in 10 Agricultural Villages in the Al-Mawasit and Al-Shamaytin Directorates, as part of the Rural Development and Revitalization Project.

We live in an era where the world is striving for resource sustainability and environmental preservation. In this context, Pure Hands Organization and Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) are implementing the Rural Development and Revitalization Project in the Al-Mawasit and Al-Shamaytin Directorates. This project aims to support farmers and alleviate their hardships by constructing rainwater harvesting tanks in 10 different agricultural villages.

Rainwater is a valuable natural resource for farmers as it provides a sustainable source for agricultural irrigation. Through the construction of tanks, rainwater is collected and stored for use during dry periods, ensuring year-round agriculture. This approach is crucial in improving crop productivity and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural villages.

Alongside the tank construction, modern irrigation networks and accessories are provided to the targeted farmers. These networks enhance water usage efficiency and provide a unified system for distributing water to crops in an effective and sustainable manner. Training and awareness programs are provided to farmers to ensure maximum benefit from these modern techniques and to achieve success in their agricultural endeavors.
