Funded by Pure Hands.. Launch of the Agricultural Village Development Programme (distillation irrigation system distribution phase and manual tillage in Al-Mawaset Directorate )

Pure Hands organization has provided subvention for the Rural Agricultural Development Program, specifically the phase involving the distribution of water distributing systems and manual plows in the Al-Mawasat Directorate.Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) has launched this initiative with the aim of supporting the agricultural sector and improving water efficiency in the region.

The program targets 80 farms in 10 agricultural villages across the Al-Mawasat and Al-Shamaytin directorates. Today, distribution took place for 40 farms in five agricultural villages associated with the Al-Akhmor Isolation in Al-Mawasat, while distribution for the remaining farmers in the Duba Al-Kharej Isolation in the Al-Shamaytin Directorate will be completed at a later time.

The inauguration event was attended by several notable individuals, including the Deputy Governor for Quarries Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Sanawi, the Director of Al-Mawasat Directorate, Mr. Ameen Sharaf Thabit, the Director of the Agriculture Office in Al-Mawasat, Mr. Ali Al-Soufi. Additionally, representatives from Pure Hands organization, Engineer Ibrahim Saleh, and the Executive Director of Bena Charity for Human Development, Mr. Tariq Al-Hammadi, along with Engineer Suleiman Al-Samadi, the Project Manager, were present.

Mr. Mohammed Al-Sanawi, the Deputy Governor, expressed his appreciation for the activity, highlighting its role in continuously improving and developing the agricultural sector. He emphasized that this initiative will contribute to enhancing agricultural sustainability and achieving food security in the region.

Engineer Ibrahim Saleh, representing Pure Hands organization, expressed pride in funding this crucial project, which aims to promote sustainable agriculture and improve the living conditions of farmers. The organization is committed to supporting rural communities and providing the necessary tools to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Mr. Tariq Al-Hammadi, the Executive Director of BCFHD, emphasized the Association’s pride in participating in this activity, as they firmly believe in the importance of supporting and enhancing the agricultural sector. This initiative is a significant step in that direction, underscoring the Association’s commitment to providing farmers with the necessary support and resources to improve productivity and enhance agricultural sustainability in the region.
