In a significant step towards promoting cleanliness and public health, the “Cleanliness Campaign” activity was inaugurated this morning as part of the project ” Provision of Comprehensive Emergency and Life-saving WASH Assistance to Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Salh and Al Qahirah Districts – Taiz” in Yemen. This project is funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) and implemented by the Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) through the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund – Taiz.

The Cleanliness Campaign aims to improve the environmental and general cleanliness in the targeted areas and raise awareness among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and host communities about the importance of personal and environmental cleanliness. The campaigns will last for three months and include a variety of activities related to cleanliness, such as street and public area cleaning, and distribution of basic and consumable health and cleanliness supplies.
The Cleanliness Campaigns are part of the comprehensive project to improve health and cleanliness in the targeted areas. These efforts are part of the collaborative work between the Yemen Humanitarian Fund and BCFHD to meet the needs of IDPs and vulnerable host communities.
