A workshop to Building the capacities of the project field team regarding the child protection related issues.

BCFHD organized a workshop as part of the project “Provision of integrated response of education and child protection services to the most vulnerable children in Maqbanah district, Taiz under pillar1” No. 25861, funded by YHF.

 

The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the capacities of the project field team regarding child protection issues. The workshop aimed to improve the team’s knowledge and skills related to providing care and protection for the highly affected children in the district.

The workshop had a total of 10 participants, including project management, monitoring and evaluation staff. It employed a comprehensive training approach that covered both theoretical and practical aspects of child protection. Topics covered included safeguarding, PSEA, psychological first aid, centrality of protection, and safe referral to specialized services.

The project’s overall goal is to enhance education and protection services for the most affected children in Maqbanah district by empowering and strengthening the capabilities of the field team. The workshop exemplifies the continuous commitment and endeavors of BCFHD and YHF to enhance capacities and knowledge among protection and education workers.

These efforts contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and mitigating the adverse impacts on Yemen’s most vulnerable children.
