With funding from (YHF), the BCFHD conducted the Kick-off Workshop for the “Provision of integrated response of education and child protection services to the most volunerable children in Maqbanah district, Taiz under pillar1”, which aims to provide an integrated package in the field of education and protection for 6034 affected children in Maqbanah district.

The Kick-off Workshop aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Society, the community and government bodies; to ensure an effective and comprehensive response. Discussions centred on clarifying the overall objective of the project, expected outputs, project activities in education, targeted schools, protection activities and the scope of targeting to achieve positive change in children’s lives.

The project targets 6034 of the most affected children in Maqbanah district , seeks to provide a safe and child-friendly learning environment, enhances their abilities and helps them achieve their future ambitions.

The Director of Maqbanah, Mr. Hamed Al-Khulidi commended the importance of the project and the integration of protection and education activities that meet the needs of the largest important segment of society, namely children.
