This morning, the Kick-off Workshop of the project “Provision of Comprehensive Emergency and Life-saving WASH Assistance to Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Salh and Al Qahirah Districts Taiz.”. in Yemen was held with funding from the YHF and conducts by BCFHD.

The project aims at providing access to safe and adequate drinking water and improving the health and hygiene status of displaced persons and vulnerable host communities in the districts of Salh and Al Qahirah -Taiz.

The project addresses the basic needs of displaced persons and host communities in target areas and provides urgent and comprehensive water, sanitation and hygiene assistance.

The inaugural workshop included an interactive session and presentations on the project’s objectives, activities and indicators, challenges and risks that could be addressed during project implementation and how to mitigate them.
