BCFHD launched on Thursday, May 18, 2023 the distribution of solar energy systems to 4 schools and hygiene kits to 5 schools in Salh district of Taiz Governorate , as part of tye activities of the YHF funded-project entitled” Improving the educational environment for the vulnerable school-aged children in the affected schools of Salh district, Taiz Governorate, under priority 2″Mr. Zaid Al-Amiri, the project manager, stated that these activities aim to support the educational process in targeted schools in Salh district.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Tarek Al-Hammadi, the executive manager of BCFHD, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Bukhari, the deputy manager of MoSAL Governorate Office, Mr. Aref Abdo Saif, the director of Salh district, Mr. Abdulwasea Shdad, the manager of Governorate Education Office, Mr. Mohammed Abdo Hassan, the manager of Salh district Education Office and a a number of members of the School Councils and a number of project staff.

It is worth noting that the project activities include provision of cash incentives and training to volunteer teachers in addition to provision of new school desks, whiteboards with their accessories, Hygiene kits and cleaning materials and solar power systems to a number of targeted schools in Salh District.
