On Sunday, May 14, 2023, BCFHD, in the presence of the Coordinator of Shelter Dept. in the ExU Mr. Ahmed Al-Qufaili and the Engineer of the Shelter Cluster in Marib hub Eng. Ameen Al Magbool, launched the provision of shelter maintenance and upgrade to 300 HHs of IDPs in Al-Kharashi Site in Marib Al Wadi District – Marib Governorate.
This intervention comes within the activities of a project funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) to ensure the safety and security and protection from climate conditions for the most vulnerable families of IDPs living in IDPs hosting sites.
Mr. Sulaiman Al-Samadi – the Project Officer – said that today the maintenance materials would be distributed to 39 families out of 300 families and that the distribution of maintenance materials continue to the rest of the families during May and June, 2023.
It is worth noting that each targeted family will receive maintenance materials as well as CfW assistance to be able to conduct the maintenance works for their shelters.
