On 10th of May, 2023, BCFHD hosted, in its headquarters in Taiz, the Shelter Sub-national Cluster – Aden Hub to conduct an ad hoc coordination meeting with partners concerned with damaged house rehabilitation works in Taiz.
The ad hoc meeting was allocated to discuss mainly three main points:
– Updates on the rehabilitation of damaged houses activities in Taiz city.
– Updates on the cluster partner’s response to the flood-affected people in Taiz.
– The needs to conduct needs assessment for the emergency shelter needs due to recent Rainfall and Flash Floods

At the beginning, Mr. Saleem Al Azazi, the Shelter Sub-National Cluster Coordinator – Aden Hub, welcomed the participants and thanked them for their coming.
In the meeting, Mr. Al Azazi stressed the importance of implementing the rehabilitation works for the damaged houses as stated in the work plans to mitigate the suffering of the targeted vulnerable households. Mr. Al Azazi also commended the efforts of the partners and requested them to conduct Needs Assessment for the emergency shelter needs due to recent Rainfall and Flash Floods
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Al Azazi thanked BCFHF for hosting the meeting.
