The Women and Child Protection Sector in BCFHD organizes an awareness event on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The protection sector for women and children at BCFHD organized an awareness event in the occasion of the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”, which is celebrated on November 25 of each year, and lasts for 16 days, starting from November 25 to December 10, the International Day human rights.

The awareness event was launched under the slogan of the campaign for the current year 2022 (What do you do to protect women and fulfill  their needs?), as it included educational messages that dealt with the following topics:

Protect her rights

Her dignity is our dignity

Protection is everyone’s right

– From protecting women, educating and empowering them

Women are the sisters of men

Honor her in honor of your family

– She is your mother.. She is your sister.. She is your wife, so be kind to her.

It is worth noting that this occasion is celebrated on November 25 of each year (symbolized in orange) to combat violence against women and call for its elimination, which was approved by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999 as a response to the calls made by some women’s organizations to combat violence against women.

This celebration is a call from all governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions to organize programs that raise awareness of the violence that is practiced against women in most societies, the harsh treatment that is directed at them, and the denunciation of the heinous crimes that are practiced against women in general
