BCFHD conclusion of the training workshop on family nutrition in Al-Shamayatayn District, Taiz

Today, BCFHD concluded a training workshop on family nutrition in Al-Shamaitin District, as part of the emergency assistance project in the field of agricultural livelihoods for families affected by the conflict and the Corona pandemic to improve food security and nutrition, which is implemented by the association, funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action KSrelief, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The workshop targeted 20 trainees from nutrition specialists, during four days of training, which dealt with a number of themes related to family nutrition.

According to the project plan, 20 nutritionists who were included in the training will carry out an awareness-raising activity during the coming period (10,640) girls from each family targeted by the project, in 24 isolates of the Al-Shamayatain district, who are of childbearing age and who actively participate in preparing food for these families.
