(BCFHD)distributes 4,500 laying hens to the most vulnerable families in Al-Shamaitain District, Taiz

BCFHD Charitable Society for Human Development (BCFHD) has concluded distributing thousands of laying hens to hundreds of the most vulnerable families in the Al-Shamaytayn district of the Taiz governorate, as part of the emergency aid project for the most vulnerable families in Yemen No. (002) implemented by the association with funding from (OCHA) through the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in the presence of Brother Sultan Al-Asbahi, Director of the Agriculture Office in the Directorate.

Dr. Faisal Al-Sabri, the project manager, explained that (4,500) four thousand and five hundred laying hens were distributed targeting (450) families in the isolation of Dhahban, Al-Azaz and Al-Asabeh affiliated to the Al-Shamaitain District, at a rate of (10) chickens per family, in addition to providing (100) kg of chicken. of poultry feed for each family.

He added: This activity aims to support the resilience of vulnerable families and help them improve family nutrition and improve the level of income.

It is worth noting that this activity comes among other activities in agricultural and animal inputs targeting (11,090) families in 22 isolates of the Al-Shamayatain district, and it includes the provision of cash assistance, in addition to the activity of training women of childbearing age in the nutritional field for (10,640) women.

This activity has met with great satisfaction among the beneficiaries in light of the difficult living and economic conditions of the citizens
