More than 160,000 people benefited from it.. “Bena” concludes Ramadan projects and activities in 7 governorates

Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) completed projects and activities for the month of April 2022 in 6 Yemeni governorates, during which it targeted multiple groups and segments of Yemeni society during the blessed month of Ramadan 1443 AH.

Mr. Tariq Al-Hammadi, Executive Director, explained that the association implemented 9 projects in the governorates of (Taiz – Aden – Shabwa – Marib – Mahra – Hodeidah).

He added: The projects (food baskets, family and individual breakfast meals, cold drinking water, distribution of supplies for the disabled, distribution of hygiene materials in the Social Care and Correctional Home, distribution of cash assistance, education projects, water and environmental sanitation, and shelter) were implemented, where the number of beneficiaries reached more out of 23,000 families, noting that BCFHD conducted surveys for the urgent needs assessment process for about (11 districts) in Taiz governorate during this period.

Al Hammadi stressed: “The association’s keenness to support and strengthen its humanitarian activities and voluntary programs at the level of all governorates, calling on institutions, the private sector, and supporters to intensify programs of a social and humanitarian nature.

At the conclusion of his statement, Al Hammadi expressed his thanks to local, regional and international organizations and businessmen for their support of the association’s projects, as well as to all those who contributed to the success of these projects, praising the efforts of the association’s employees, partners and members of the field community committees.
