Within the activities of the project of “Improve access to safe education” which is funded by YHF and implemented by BCFHD, the Director General of the Education Office in Taiz Governorate, inaugurated the distribution and installation of solar energy systems to the targeted schools in Salh District, in the presence of some key-figures from local authorities and BCFHD.

Abdul-Alam Aqlan – the project officer – explained that 13 solar systems have been installed for 13 schools in Salh district. Each solar system contains 3 panels of 340 watts, 2 batteries of 150 amps, a hyper VP-inverter, and other supplies. He also added that the safety installation of solar systems has been confirmed and that they will operate with a 220-watt electricity.
