Within the project entitled “Engage Her with Technology to Promote Peace” which is funded by the Cultural Exchange Program at the US Embassy in Yemen, BCFHD, in partnership with EDHR, concluded a 24-days training program in the field of scientific research for 180 female students from scientific faculties at Aden University and Abyan in the fields of scientific research .

Riad Shamsan, the project manager, explained that the project targeted female students , where 120 female students were trained at the University of Aden, and 60 female students at the University of Abyan.

He added: The project sought to enable the trainee students to access academic resources using technology, to be trained in the steps of scientific research, to improve speed- reading skills, and to self- learning electronically.

The trainees praised the program as being one of the most wonderful and most valuable training programs as it fulfills the actual needs of scientific faculties students.

At the end of the project, participation certificates were distributed to the trainee students of both universities.
