Within the project of “Supporting the resilience of vulnerable HHs in the field of agricultural livelihoods and food security” in the Ash Shamayatayn District, Taiz Governorate which is funded by FAO, BCFHD inaugurated the exhibition of dairy products in Al-Turbah sub district in the presence of the director of the district, head of the local council and other key figures from local authority.

The representatives of local authorities expressed their happiness for the exhibition, stressing the importance of the funder’s and the organizations’ efforts to transform vulnerable HHs into productive ones.

Dr. Abdul Karim Shamsan, President of BCFHD, explained that BCFHD supports such projects because of their sustainable impact on poor HHs in terms of training, empowerment and improving livelihoods. Noting that BCFHD has a good record in this field and other fields.

Dr. Faisal Al-Sabri, the project manager, indicated that the exhibition included variety of dairy products and that it comes after the conclusion of a three-month training program for 242 female breadwinners who expressed their happiness and satisfaction at the project and the exhibition.
