Within the YHF-Funded WASH project, BCFHD launched the sewage cleaning campaign to clean and open blocked sewage manholes in the districts of Salh and Al-Mudhaffar, in addition to rehabilitating some sewage lines into the public sewage network to ensure that sewage does not flow into streets and residential areas in order to obtain safe health areas.

On the other hand, Mr. Fouad Abdullah, Deputy Director of SAL, praised the efforts of BCFHD for its activities and projects.

It is worth noting that the implementation of this activity is carried out through the cash-for-work mechanism by the workers of the LWSC in the districts of Salh and Al-Mudhaffar, and it continues for a period of 6 months.
