BCFHD “trains 242 HHs benefiting from dairy equipment in Al-Shamayatayn District, Taiz Governorate

Funded by FAO, BCFHD continues the training of 242 women benefiting from dairy equipment that was distributed last September within the activities of the project of “Supporting the resilience of vulnerable HHs in the field of agricultural livelihoods” which targets 2,750 HHs in Al-Shamayatayn District, Taiz Governorate.

The targeted HHs are trained to use the distributed equipment which were divided into three sections:

1- Individual equipment that benefited 162 HHs.

2- Equipment for small groups, benefiting 60 HHs.

3- large equipment distributed into two leading groups, where the group contains 10 HHs.

It is worth noting that the project includes many agricultural and animal activities, most notably training on the proper agricultural practices, training farmers on the fattening process for small animals and cows, distributing agricultural and animal inputs, and distributing equipment for the manufacture of cheese and dairy products.
