Funded by YHF, BCFHD held the first meeting of community committees within the activities of the project to provide emergency aid in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Sector (WaSH) for the displaced and the most vulnerable host communities affected by the risk of displacement in the districts of Salh and Al Mudhafar.

In this meeting, the tasks of the community committees were clarified, as well as introducing them to the project activities and the targeted areas. The community committees’ inquiries were answered and they were introduced to the mechanism of complaints and suggestions.

It is worth noting that the community committee has 30 members, 10 of whom are representatives from the executive unit in the governorate.
