BCFHD participates in the 2021 Food Security and Livelihoods assessment (FSLA) Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop

BCFHD, represented by Riadh Shamsan – the Director of the Food Security Program in the ORG, participated in the “2021 FSLA Training of Trainers workshop” during the period 12-16 September in Aden GOV.

This workshop was organized by WFP, MoPIC, Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and the Central Statistics Organization and in partnership with FAO and UNCEF.

The course aimed to provide the trainers with the skills of collecting information about the situation of food security of HHs and providing future assistance in surveying and livelihoods, and knowledge about the survey process and the necessary needs for food security and livelihoods.

The course included theoretical and practical sessions on measuring and defining the regulations of the survey process to reach positive and real results regarding the actual needs of cases of malnutrition and to understand people’s need for livelihoods and improving their living conditions in the future.

The course was attended by 30 participants from the government, local and international organizations, and relevant authorities.
