Funded by IRC, BCFHD continues to distribute health kits to the IDPs within the Emergency Response Project for those affected by the floods in the IDP Sites in Al-Ma’afer and Al-Shamayatayn districts in Taiz governorate.

The distribution targets 900 vulnerable HHs from 7 different IDP Sites (2 in Al-Ma’afer District with 308 HHs and 5 IDP Sites in Al-Shamayatayn District with 246 HHs).

It is worth mentioning that the distribution activity was preceded by a training workshop for the verification and awareness team where they were introduced to the methods used in the verification process of the targeted HHs. They were also trained on the awareness mechanism and what awareness messages will be delivered to the beneficiaries in the targeted IDP Sites and the HHs living nearby.
