Funded by YHF, BCFHD has concluded distributing fishing kits to 500 fishermen HHs in Al Mukha district. This activity considers the second phase of the project; “improving livelihoods for fishermen HHs in Al Mukha district” where the first phase of the project was a three-consecutive rounds of cash assistance distributions.
The targeted HHs were selected according to the criteria of FSAC, in coordination with the local authority and the community committee that represents the fishermen in Al Mukha district.
Prior to the distribution, the beneficiaries were trained on the procedures for preserving the fishing kits.
