Funded by ECHO and in partnership with IRC, BCFHD distributed medicines, hygiene and personal protection materials to 13 health centres and hospitals in Taiz city within the framework of the project ” Emergency response for epidemics of Cholera, COVID-19 and dengue fever in highly priority districts of Al Mudhaffar, Salh, Al Qahirah of Taiz Governorate”.

Dr. Sabreen Abdel-Wahab, the health facilitator in the project, said that the activity of distributing medicines and hygiene materials included 11 health centers in addition to Al-Jumhouri and Yemeni Swedish Hospitals.
She added that this activity was preceded by the distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) to Al-Jumhouri, Al-Thawra and Yemeni Swedish Hospitals besides to distributing 20 oxygen tubes to the last two mentioned Hospitals as part of the activities of this project.
