Funded by YHF, BCFHD inaugurated the distribution of fishing kits within the project of improving livelihoods for fishermen’s HHs in Al Mukha district.
Mr. Al-Sraji – Head of the Planning Committee of the Local Council of Al Mukha district, praised YHF and the efforts made by BCFHD for providing the fishing supplies to improving the livelihoods of fishermen, calling on all relevant organizations to carry out such empowerment projects for fishermen in the district.

Suleiman Al-Samadi – the project officer – explained that this activity targets 500 HHs of fishermen, who were selected according to FSAC criteria, in coordination with the local authority and the community committee that represents the fishermen in the district.
It is worth mentioning that the fishing kit distribution activity was preceded by a three-consecutive cash distribution for the targeted HHs.
