Funded by the ECHO and in partnership with the IRC, BCFHD has launched the distribution of medicines and medical supplies to a number of Taiz hospitals, as part of the “Emergency Preparedness and Response Mechanism for the Covid-19 Pandemic”.

The distribution included four hospitals in Taiz governorate , in coordination with the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate.

For his part, Director of the Health Office, Dr. Rajeh Al-Maliki, thanked BCFHD and the donors for their efforts represented in the emergency response to the Corona crisis, which also included training health workers in the early stages of the epidemic, in addition to providing medicines, solutions, medical supplies and personal protective equipment.
