Funded by the YHF, BCFHD distributed fire extinguishers to the IDP hosting sites within the activities of the shelter project related to Supporting the most vulnerable IDPs with life-saving rental assistance and NFIs, and SMC in hosting sites in Al-Mudhaffar, Salh and Al-Qahirah Districts of Taiz Governorate.
Mr. Mutahar Al-Shamiri, the project manager, explained that this activity targets 11 IDP hosting sites for the displaced in the urban districts.
He added that the activity aims to provide security and protection for the displaced, as the displaced people were trained individually on how to use extinguishers to manage fire safely
