Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) inaugurate the Productive women exhibition in Taiz

Under the auspices and funding of King Salman for Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) and with the presence of a number of community leaders and civil organizations, Mr. Abdo Ali, Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz and Mr. Tariq Al-Hammadi, Executive Manager of BCFHD, inaugurated the “Bazar of Productive Women in Taiz Governorate”,  

Mr. Abdo Ali, on behalf of the leadership of the local authority in Taiz Governorate, praised the great humanitarian role played by (KSrelief) which results in fruitful and remarkable results in all aspects and fields. He pointed out that the Bazaar is a qualitative leap for women heading HHs in Taiz, which helps them to break the barrier of fear and overcome all obstacles and also to experience the work with confidence.

The bazaar, which lasted for 3 days, was attended by 200 breadwinner women and included a number of products such as clothes for women and kids, accessories, handicrafts, soaps, incense, perfumes and bags. 

The first hours of the opening witnessed a high attendance of citizens who visited the bazaar for shopping hand-crafted and natural products.

Ms. Sakina Tarish, the project manager, explained that the exhibition is a part of the activities of vocational training and economic empowerment program for female breadwinners. The program is funded by the (KSrelief) targeting 200 female heads of HHs in Taiz governorate and aims to highlight the handicrafts produced by women of Taiz in the fields of sewing, incense and perfumes, handicrafts and coiffure.
