In partnership with the Qatar Red Crescent, BCFHD has concluded the first distribution round of cash assistance to children with SAM funded by YHPF-OCHA .

The project coordinator, Mr. Omer Alyousfi explained that the project targeted 878 children with SAM in 22 May Health Center and Alwafa Health Center in Al Mudhafar District of Taiz Governorate. Mr. Alyousfi added that the cash assistance is for the purchase of food supplements for the children with SAM, and it will continue for three distribution rounds until target children recover children from SAM, noting that BCFHD is preparing to carry out a new distribution round in the coming days.
