Bena Charity And Taiz University Honor The First Students At Taiz University

Under the auspices of Dr. Ameen Mahmoud, Governor of Taiz Governorate and Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuaibi, President of Taiz University, on Sunday, April 29 – 2018, Taiz University celebrated the honoring of the first students at scientific colleges of Taiz University.

The ceremony, organized by BCFHD and Taiz University with support from Yemen Soft Systems Company , honored 20 distinguished students from the colleges of ” Medicine, Engineering and Applied Sciences”. In the ceremony, Mr. Abdulhakim Aoun, the deputy governor of Taiz Governorate, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the honored students to achieve excellence in their scientific studies, and urged them to do more in the field of educational achievement. Mr. Aoun pointed out that the local authority supports and encourages such activities, adding that Taiz, the capital of science and culture, is proud of these students who represent the bright face of Taiz , praising the university for continuing the educational process under the difficult circumstances the university has experienced. In his speech, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuaibi, President of Taiz University, welcomed the participants and praised all the efforts exerted by BCFHD and Yemen Soft Company, which provided 20 laptops to honor the first students in the scientific departments. Dr. Al-Shuaibi added “This is a great demonstration of the interest of BCFHD and Yemen Soft Compamy in providing unlimited support to outstanding students”. Dr. Abdulkarim Shamsan, the President of BCFHD, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the first students who are a source of honor for Taiz governorate with their excellence in their university studies. He explained that the goal of BCFHD is educational message, which distinguishes it from the rest of NGOs. Dr. Shamsan pointed to the efforts of BCFHD in educational field highlighting the academic excellence center of BCFHD, which includes two housing units, one for male students and one for female students. In a speech delivered by one of the honored students on behalf of his colleagues, he expressed his happiness to be honored and expressed his thanks to all supporters, students’ parents and university professors.

In the ceremony, which witnessed a number of technical activities, 20 of the first university students were honored with laptops provided by Yemen Soft Company. Eng. Abduljabbar Abbas was also honored by the Taiz University and students for all his charitable and developmental efforts. The ceremony was attended by a number of directors of government offices in Taiz Governorate, deans of faculties of Taiz university, secretaries of faculties, chairmen of departments of Taiz University, representatives of Yemen Soft Company, relatives and friends of the honored students and students from different faculties at Taiz university
